We are excited to share the latest updates from August 2025 that enhance your experience with our platform.
Introducing new Merge built-in library
- Shadcn/ui is now available as a built-in library. It includes modern, minimal components that adapt to many project types and design styles. You can use these components to build prototypes or generate UIs with AI. Everything you create can be exported as production-ready code.
Improvements
- Figma plugin updates:
- Fixed export of nested non-solid strokes
- Better import of non-solid strokes (first used color applied)
- Fixed handling of multiple mask groups (some may still require manual unmasking)
- We’ve revamped the AI modal to make working with libraries and prompts smoother.
- You can star any library as a favorite, and it will stay pinned to the top for the next time you open the modal.
- Choose another library lets you explore all available libraries and select one temporarily without cluttering your favorites.
- The prompt field has been expanded, giving you more space to write and review longer instructions.
- Added Prompt Library to AI Creator so you can start faster. Browse prompts by category or shuffle to quickly pick one without typing from scratch.
- AI now optimizes short prompts by expanding them with more detail to generate a fuller UI.
- Added the new gpt-5-mini model, giving you more options for AI generation.
- Enhanced color validation now supports token objects, improving the consistency of color management across your projects.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed various minor issues to ensure a more stable and reliable user experience.
