Easier Update Creation, Now in One Flow
We’ve made it easier and faster for you to create updates.
What’s new:
- A simpler wizard flow – Both Recaps and Spotlight (formerly called Update Builder) now share the same step-by-step wizard. No matter what type of update you’re writing, the process will feel familiar and straightforward.
- Multi-destination publishing – From the wizard, you can also now choose multiple places to publish your update and even set custom publish dates for each.
- Instant status updates – When you publish, you’ll immediately see the status and count of your updates, without refreshing the page.
- Cleaner navigation – You’ll now find the “Create Update” button right on the Updates page. From there, you can start either a Spotlight or a Recap.
Spotlight vs. Recap:
- Use Spotlight to highlight a specific feature, fix, or announcement.
- Use Recap to summarize multiple changes over time.
These improvements are all about helping you work more smoothly and share updates more easily.
